Isabella Kemper
I’m a freelance photojournalist currently based in Indiana and a recent graduate of Ball State University, where I studied photojournalism.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to anything that allows me to be creative. What started with a small digital camera I got for my birthday as a kid eventually turned into picking up my mom’s camera during COVID and discovering my passion for visual storytelling. I began taking photography seriously during my senior year of high school, and that passion has grown into my career as a photojournalist today.
I love being able to tell the stories of people who may not have the chance to tell them themselves, while also capturing the beauty of the world around us for those who may never get to experience it firsthand. Through every image, my goal is to create work that feels honest, meaningful, and lasting.
